Race Judicata 2018

On a beautiful late summer night with the spectacular downtown Chicago skyline as a backdrop, a group of Cooney & Conway employees joined thousands of runners and walkers in the 24th annual Race Judicata in Lincoln Park. The annual event benefits the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation, which provides free legal representation for those who cannot afford it.

Attorney Ryan Lindnser, who last participated in the event as a Cooney & Conway law clerk, finished first among the firm’s participants with a time of 25:09, which placed him 415th overall.

“Our mentality was to go out there collectively as a group and show our support for the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services,” Lindnser said. “This event provides additional funding and support to help those attorneys who spend their time to help represent those people who cannot afford it on their own.”
